Had a friend tell me he just stayed at Paradise Pier hotel at DL and complain about how it’s barely a 3 star Holiday Inn at Four Season prices - and he’s stayed there before. SMH

For that reason we would rather stay at the motels on Harbor Blvd. This past November we stayed at Tropicana Inn and Suites. It took 7 min from the time we left the room to get inside the gates of a park. So it’s cheaper and quicker than the Disney hotel or Paradise Pier.

Yeah. That’s a 6 hour binge (94 shorts x 4 min/short = 376 minutes / 60 mins/hr = 6+ hours).

I absolutely love the new sign, but I do agree the lighting at the top should be slowed down. Even then, I don't mind it since it fits in with the crazy fast wackiness of the new Mickey shorts. About one more month to go!

Just when I thought I was done...looks like I’ve got two more to watch!

The nephews are great and are (sometimes) background characters in the main shorts. I love Ducktales so it is nice to see them.

I think they are just so charming. Really like Potatoland for all the tongue and cheek references.

Forget the slapstick, I honestly enjoy the shorts not only because of its humor. But for the amount of obscure references to Disney's past. My favorite was the cameo of Elmer Elephant and Tillie Tiger at Niagara Falls in the "Sailing Away" short.

I'm staying on harbor Blvd for my next stay(bw suites) and I agree that paradise pier is lackluster. But I stayed in the grand Californian and it was magnificent; worth every cent.

So glad I’ve purchased a plaid for Sunday the 8th. He/she might not get me on Rise, but we are defiantly hitting MFSR, Mickey and Slinky.

Neon signs don't burn out... but the transformers,relays and wiring to them can fail. Neon that also is subject to movement or impact is at high risk of getting damaged. Their reliability is actually very good...

Real neon. And there is real neon all over Hollywood Studios including the former Great Movie Ride signage. Disney has generally done a very good job of maintaining it.
