I mean, if there's value to them, they're correct, it doesn't impact you. If their 'impact' of you is making the parties more expensive to a level you don't want to spend, then you don't see the value in the party that they do, so let them spend and you avoid doing so.

Do I think they're worth it? Christmas, yes, but Halloween, no. But I'm also a Christmas guy and love the fireworks, parade, and all. At their top price, though? Neither is worth that much. But as long as people keep paying, Disney will keep pushing until they find a break even point where higher prices don't lead to sell outs, which leaves them with less revenue. And it's really not even about selling out for Disney, at the higher prices, they can not sell out every party and make more money than they did in the past because it's sold enough tickets compared to the previous years with their pricing. And that may even make guests who attend more satisfied because there are less people, creating an easier environment to do all that the party offers.

All this to say, if someone finds value in it, hats off to them. They aren't for everyone.

Went to Boogie Bash for the first time last year and honestly really enjoyed it. The trick or treating and characters made it feel so much more justified than what MK does. But I guess if you only care about rides then it’s probably not as good. I personally won’t be doing a Halloween party for probably a long time. The pricing is just ridiculous for how crowded it is now.

It’s also not the people care what haunted thinks about ticket prices thread. You don’t get to set a fair market price. The market sets the value for the tickets. People keep buying them at the price Disney is charging. So let’s objectively see who is closer to “right” about what the value of the tickets are. Some keyboard warrior on a fan forum with his personal bias, or Disney who is pricing them such that they sell out year after year?

Sadly, it wouldn’t be difficult for them to do. Start up the first full week in August and sprinkle a few couple of dates over the first few weeks and they’d achieve that easily.

Honestly, they need to. August 15 is far too late. Practically Christmas. Pleasant fall weather arrives around July 30. You need a sweater by August.

Same number of nights. 2025 is starting later, but it is adding more nights per week in the condensed time frame.

Also, in 2024, all the party nights were sold out. Some way in advance, like the first and last dates. Some the day-of.

Sorry if its already been covered, does anybody know if on the 15th it will be initially only open to US guests, I know it was this way when I went in 2023 (I had to use a VPN to book it) but I'm not sure what happened last year with not going - I can only do 15th August so I need to be ON IT!
