Not from what I've been hearing. My experience I've only attended MVMCP twice (2016 and 2017; about to go a third time) which I have enjoyed, the Halloween Parties look more childish if you ask me.

We went three times this year with mixed experiences. We have gone at least twice a year for the four years and we have had to curb our expectations a bit. Each year seems to get busier with 2018 and 2019 being about equal. So don't expect low crowds! This year, we were there from the middle to the end of September. We went on a two separate Tuesdays and a Friday. Two days were sold out and the middle trip ( a Tuesday) was much lower crowds.

All that being said, we still had a blast, I love the parade and consider it the best parade I have personally attended. We don't do many meet-n-greets anymore, but the Jack and Sally would be my favorite. The Halloween attraction layovers are okay at best with the Laugh Floor addition being the best. Most attraction wait times will be long, especially this close to Halloween, so don't expect many, if any walk-on rides.

If you are doing it for the Halloween festivities, it is well worth it to me, if you are just trying to get more and quicker ride times, not worth it.

If you do go, Disney screwed up the parade viewing by encouraging people to attend the "less busy" second showing, now both parades are difficult to get decent viewing without arriving at least, and even than it tough, an hour early.

Just as an example, I started to look for a spot two hours before the first parade, I wanted to score a good spot for that and the fireworks show, and I got a great view for the parade with a so-so view of the fireworks. The central hub was already filled.

All-in-all the Halloween party is my second favorite party, with the Christmas one being the best, but the parade is second to none. I hope this helps.

We have done the Halloween party multiple times and enjoyed it each time. We are planning a trip for next Fall and are planning to do it again. I am, personally, not a big Halloween guy, but I love the party.

Personally, I think the Halloween parade is one of the best parades Disney does. Never disappoints. The overall atmosphere and theming of the park are well-done. Even though crowds have gotten larger, our experience has still been that wait time for rides is better than it is during normal park operations. Our kids got lots of candy at the trick-or-treat stations. And the ride of the headless horseman is a favorite of our kids as well. We aren't really interested in the stage show, but lots of people like it.

So, yes, I would say it is definitely worth it.

Yesss, a must do, especially if youve never experienced it before. They have gotten more popular and people are saying the numbers have been increasing to the point that its not as much fun as before. But its still the most unique of all the events with lots of exciting things going on that its well worth the reservation. It makes for a great evening.

Crowds are the only real negative but crowds can be an issue anyday. Parade is fun and it is nice to see the fireworks and castle show and this year was the first time my mum joined us for it, she has never done trick or treating and never allowed us as children too do it.. safe to say she made up for her loss.

ended up with over 50lbs of candy in 8 parties we have never got more than 20lbs but my mum told the cast members she had never done it and they just kept filling her bag.

Yes this is a stupid amount of candy that we honestly dont care for so we gave most away too random families at our resort and all our nieces and nephews back home.

Its a great way to get photos of characters you don't see often (such as all seven dwarves) and others in Halloween costume. But the lines for them get loooooooong.
You get plenty of candy.
There is a fantastic parade. The Hocus Pocus show is also worth seeing.

Don't plan on doing rides, other than Space Mountain in the dark you can do rides during a normal MK day. Prioritise characters and plan what time you want to see the parade, fireworks and show.
Get in the park early and have an early dinner to maximise character time!
