This IS the best police/detective show in the history of television. It introduced and recreated new ways that's shows were made. The music,clothes,cars,boats,and most important the story. I know a lot of people do not like season 5 but I think it was a great new direction, and I wish that it would of had a final season 6 instead of 5.

I didn't see much Miami Vice. It was on Friday nights and I was usually out. Don't remember Season 5, but am sure I'd stopped watching by then.

I watched Hill Street every week as a kid. I thought Belker was so funny, but didn't get the, "Hi, Ma" stuff until I was older, really.

That was a good show.

Hill street paved the way for today's shows and we can't forget Adam 12
