MGM is PACKED.

I think they were having some sort of middle/high school choir competition of something... saw groups running around the park all day and there was some sort of concert/ceremony going on at the Light, Motor, Action arena...

I didn't think the park was that crowded, it seemed that the groups were moving in surges... so if you were in a different area than the surge, you were fine...

oh well...

Yeah, I went to MGM last night, around 6:30 and it was PACKED. Park was supposed to close at 8:30 but the time apparently changed until 10:00 (likely due to Grad Nite at Disney, and Animal Kingdom closing at 6:00). Tower of Terror had a 90 minute wait but I doubt I waited that long in line. After I got off though it said 50 minute wait. I wanted to do Rock 'n Rollercoaster but it had 80 minute wait time, or so, so I opted to skip it. I should of tried the single rider line but I totally forgot they had one. That was also my first time on Terror and it was awesome.

After that I wound up by Star Tours and that was completely walk-on. Fun ride, kind of could use an update though, but since it's been so long since I've been on it, it was still a nice ride.

After that I ran over to MuppetVision3D and that was walk-in as well. I should of probably done Phantasmic as I've never seen it but alas I didn't.

I had been up since 4:30 that morning (not driving, I had work, we left after work) so I was beat. I hopped the bus back to the resort and called it a night.

But yeah, sorry for the trip report (I'll do one in the RIGHT section), but yeah, MGM was packed like I haven't seen it before. I mean PACKED. Very surprising especially so late at night, although it made sense because of early closing at Disney for Grad Night and Animal Kingdom's early closing.

MGM was like that last Saturday too. I asked a CM and she said it was because of Grad Night. I'm guessing some kids come down for Grad Night and then go to other parks to ride their favorites. We walked in and walked out of MGM last week. NUTS!

This Saturday, MK was empty during the day. I'm sure closing at 7 for Grad Night scared people off from going duing the day. Epcot was a little more packed in the afternoon (90 for TT, 60 for Soarin) but not bad.
