Simulator rides take no imagination and do nothing but make most people nautious. Don't believe me? Ride Star Tours or body wars sometime and notice how the film quality and off-sync ride movements kill the whole experience.

Actualy, it was really a good ride. I was mad when they tore it down. ::Thinks:: no, wait, they didn't tear it down to build SoB, 007 became Days of Thunder (A Nascar simulator ride) and days of thunder was torn down to build Son of Beast. What became of Days of Thunder you ask? It is now a real race car ride for small children in Action Zone (One of the themed lands) costing 5 bucks a pop.

I want to join Society of Junior Imagineers but it says I dont have permission. I could really contribute some good material and things and would really like to be part of the community. Also those are good images and can definately see MGM. Thanks for your information.:animwink:

ANIMATION RIDE!!!!

There needs to be slow dark ride (Sort of like Pooh) at MGM. Theme it toward animation and have every animated Disney film in there. It would be a sensory overload sort of like what they tried to do with the Imagination ride but better. You can theme it toward the music over the films sort of like the film at the end of the Animation Tour. Start off in the dark with When you wish upon the Star playing and have fiber optic Mickeys through the years drawing each other on either side of the car. Have Tinkerbell fly in front of the car spreading pixie dust and the doors fly open. The setting would be happy maybe have You've got a friend in me playing and you could have all the buddies together. They could intermix anamatronics and projected scenes. What is perfect about this ride is that they can put in old fixed up anamatronics like from Mr. Toads Wild Ride. Have it interactive like the Pooh ride and just have a lot of stuff poping out everywhere. True Eye Candy with the colors. Picture the opening to Vault Disney on the Disney Channel. Plus there is space to put it in. Put it as a part of the Animation Tour( that would be the fastpass). Then have the stand by line start outside. This would get more attendence in the animation tour. All that really needs to be done is one theater be knocked down and the courtyard where Mickey signs autographs could be taken out. I mean there are enough of those as it is.
