Merchandise?

I just got back from WDW yesterday and I am a little worried. I worked at The Disney Store in the late 90's and I witnessed first hand the decline of the merchandise. It now seems to be the same way at WDW. Every where I went it was the same old pirates and cars stuff that you can get at Wal Mart for half the price. Everything now seems to be aimed at 10 year olds. I wanted to buy a nice Polo shirt and some car tags but they were nowhere to be found. True they had a few here and there but what happend to the park or ride specific stuff. I did not care to see pirates stuff in Epcot. I wanted Epcot specific stuff in Epcot. Is this now the decline of park merch.? Please sat it is not so.

I've never really had a problem finding one or two nice shirts while getting stuff for the kids, but sometimes I did have to really look for it. My husband has a harder time finding nice polos but that's because they don't make them much larger than XL in most places that we looked....

It's been that way for a few years.

The selection for adults is less park specific...the same stuff is available everywhere and there just isn't as much for adults as there had been.

I know it's true of the Disney stores in the Malls and even the Disney catalog. It has been very difficult to find Disney apparel for adults.

A good place is the World of Disney Store if you want Polos.I go there and buy Polos and Dress Shirts,Ties,Etc also in MGM in one of the stores they have all mens clothes ,watches,ties,shirts,socks,etc.Still around just have to look.
