Hi I'm new here. I'm planning an all adult trip with my sister and parents. I'm also wondering about memory maker. For those who have used it - how many photos per day did you actually get? Thanks!

As many as you can have taken by photopass photographers plus on ride photos and character meet and greet / dining photos.

There are no limits on the number of photos.

If you're going with your parents, how likely are they to want to do character encounters? I wouldn't expect them to want to wait hours for the princesses, but I know my parents would want to do at least a breakfast or two so that they could relive my childhood... and I'm 31 lol.

I haven't been yet with a MM (duh... this is my thread, after all), but from what I'm gathering it depends on whether or not you ride the rides that take your picture and how many times you let the CM's stop you to have your picture taken. I still haven't decided about it and probably won't make a decision until closer to our trip, but I have a hunch that, if your parents are anything like mine, they might enjoy that kind of thing.

Not a fan. Most of the people in my family have smartphones and know how to use them, and at the end of the day we'd rather have video anyway, which the smartphones handle surprisingly well.

We gave up onboard ride shots a while back too once we learned how to strap the GoPro to most of their safety bars. The screenshots I can grab from those videos are orders of magnitude more interesting than the ones Disney takes.

It's a very small waterproof, shockproof video camera that can be strapped to various things.
GoPro is probably the most popular brand of these devices, but also the most overpriced and not really the best.
They're ideal for filming yourself doing extreme outdoor activities.
Probably overkill for Disney vacation, but under normal circumstances they're indestructible, even in the hands of children.
