Memory Maker yay or nay?

We used memory maker for our last two trips. I am on the fence about purchasing it for this trip as my daughter really hates when I say "Let's stop and get a photo." However, it really is the only way to get both of us in a picture together.

It has its value if you value that sort of thing. With everyone carrying cameras now, do you really need "pro" shots in the park with a ton of other guests in your pictures?

It's a huge money maker for Disney and really something you can do on your own.

We didn't purchase MM for our last trip in September, and had about 25 usable photos. I think buying per photo after your trip was some outrageous amount so it adds up without the package. We have a 4 and 7 year old, so we didn't have time (or patience) to stop much beyond the typical MK, HS, Epcot and AK weenie shots (that sounds bad, but I'm not the one that named it). I see Disney now watermarks the photo so you can't screen shot it from your MDE account... more reason to buy the package. However, still not sure if we'll get it on our next trip since the kids are still kind of young and impatient.

IS the cost $169.00 a person or for a group? If it is per group are you limited to how many are in the group, and does everyone get a wrist band or just one person? Thanks

My two DSs are 20 and 25 and already said they were going to go off on their own (of course meet up with us when it was time to eat). I would assume they could get their own pictures taken of just the two of them while my DH and I get pictures taken of the two of us?? At some point, all four of us will be together. We've never taken advantage of this, but since this will be our last trip for awhile, I'm thinking it would be a good idea to get the Memory Maker photos.

All I can say is we liked it. We still took pictures but didn't agonize over them as much. We always asked for extra poses and did ones with just the kids, ones with mom and dad, etc. The Memory Maker pics were great.
