Memory Maker Question

Has anyone had any experience of using this?

I've been trying to read into it and want to confirm if I'm understanding the details properly....

Pay your $150. Whenever you have a photo taken anywhere then hand the CM your card that is linked to your MDE account. All photos will be available on MDE to download for a certain period of time without you having to pay anything extra.

Is that correct?

Photopass pics, and if you're wearing your MB on ride pics and videos will all be available for download for 45 days after they're taken.

Must we have a magic band in order to use memory maker or can we still use a photopass card? If we can still use a card, is the card not good for getting your ride photos? Must you have a magic band in order to get your ride photos?

We are staying offsite in May. Do I have to purchase the magic band if we want one, or do they automatically come with the memory maker when we pre-purchase it?

AFAIK the on-ride photos automatically are associated if you wear an MB. If you don't have an MB with you [you don't have to wear it, I don't], your keycard will only attach photos to your account on certain rides they've added swipe spots to. You won't get on-ride photos from rides and I am pretty sure you only get the videos if you have an MB.

It is worth keeping an MB in your pocket.
