So, I figured that the best thing for the end of this holiday season is to share your one favorite Disney moment from any trip you've had.

I'll start...

It has to be the time I was able to go with a bunch of my closest friends, and going on ToT with them. After a few minutes convincing the more timid of the bunch, we ended up with a group so large, we needed our own elevator! Screaming ensured, but we did it again, and again, and again, wait time be damned.

Now, it's your turn. What's your own personal memory that retains the magic of Disney in your head?

On our last trip in December 2016, I injured my knee just before the trip and was forced to use a cane for the entire 11 day vacation. Slow going to say the least.

Cast members were so understanding with my mobility and allowed my family to use a lot of the shorter entrances for attractions. One in particular that made a huge difference was on Star Wars.

This being my favorite ride, the family allowed me the chance to ride it multiple times in a row on our last night at DHS. One of the wonderful cast members noticed us coming through the queue repeatedly and asked us to step aside after our last ride. She then invited us back in to ride with her on our own private ride! She explained how they choose the Rebel Spy and gave me my first chance to be chosen after dozens of rides! I think I surprised her a bit with a big hug after the ride.

I love everything about Disney World and my family considers it our home away from home, but this is far and away my favorite moment on any of the 6 trips we've been on. It gets me choked up just thinking about that CM and how she made our whole trip truly magical.

Sharing a Casey’s Corner Corn Dog Nugget Meal at the end of an evening EMH day at Magic Kingdom. It had been a full day starting with an 8am breakfast, but we still weren’t ready to leave, so we grabbed a meal and sat in an empty courtyard with a view of a fountain and the Cinderella Castle glowing in the night, chowing down, listening to the music, and reveling in pure happy-to-be-here mentality.

My first trip to MK we had breakfast at the Crystal Palace, and it was my birthday. Pooh came by our table, gave me a birthday kiss and picture with me. I still treasure that picture. :inlove:

I was in my mid 30s, now I’m... older...but I’m younger at heart

Back around 95, I was at the World with best friend and his family. We went to Indiana Jones stunt show. When they asked for vollunteers, I all but dove out of my seat...yeah, I got picked. Back stage, in wardrobe, the director informed me that I was the guy to get shot and told me to die, but ham it up.
I get on stage, sound effect qued up, he shoots me, gun blasts...I stand there calm and relaxed.
"Um, sir...you were supposed to die a horrible death."
I replied, "You missed." (Yeah, I went way off script!)
"Well, I won't miss you twice, WILL I?"

I died a fantastic death. Good times, good times...

I ran the WDW Marathon in 1998. I booked a room at the Contemporary. While checking in the man at the front desk told me I was being put in concierge at no cost. I was 28 and it was my first marathon so I had no idea what was going on. Bell services brings me up to my room and my jaw hits the floor. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and shower and a phone. The balcony overlooked the Magic Kingdom and I could watch the fireworks nightly. I didn’t unpack the entire trip because I thought someone would come tell me this was a mistake and I had to move.

During our first trip in 2008, I carried my son (7 at the time) all the way from the Haunted Mansion to the Monorail after an open/close day at the Magic Kingdom and it was our last night of the trip. The whole way he was waving goodbye to the buildings and CMs. We have a picture of it somewhere, I'll have to find it and upload it.

This is a story about having expectations and being disappointed. We arrived at the Polynesian after a morning flight, hungry and tired, and all I wanted was to sit in the King Kamehameha Lounge and wind down with lobster claw appetizer and then head over to Discovery Island. Go up to where the restaurant was ... blank wall. It's just gone. So disappointed. Okay, over the the Contemporary to take the boat over to the island. There's a guy on the dock to tell us Sorry, it's closed until (1 day after we leave). He felt so bad because I know I looked crushed. Heh. Well, let's go to Epcot because we're hungry and tired. Walked into Mexico and my husband says Is that a restaurant? Yes it is! We were seated along the rail overlooking the volcano and after a while I noticed there were boats going by. It was a real Disney moment for me and that's when my vacation started. And Discovery Island opened a day early so I was able to get over there.

When my sons were little we told them we were going to visit their aunt in FL. Packed up the van and left SC; we were able to keep them distracted and pulled up in the parking lot of Epcot and told them we were just stopping for a minute. They both got out of the van took one look at Spaceship Earth and they both at the same time screamed WE ARE AT DISNEY WORLD!!!!! it was priceless

I've told this story several times over the years, but it's a good 'un. On my fortieth birthday (mumble mumble) years ago, I did my first ever scuba dive in the Living Seas. I had just gotten certified specifically for this event, and it was truly amazing. After the dive I had a really nice dinner at the Coral Reef, with a whole new understanding of the reef after having seen it from both sides of the glass. After viewing IllumiNations I was on my way out of the park, stopping in the Centorium (now Mouse Gears) for a look around. I stopped to watch Pluto playing with some kids, stealing their hats and running away, etc. I was standing with his CM handler, and mentioned that it had been a great birthday. Next thing I knew, Pluto was taking me by the hand and pushing me up to stand on a bench, while the handler was telling the crowd that it was my birthday. So there I was, a single park stormer on his 40th birthday, while Pluto led the crowd in a rousing round of Happy Birthday. Totally cool!!!
