Our family is going to be in WDW at the end of April. Any tips on best time to see Elsa and Anna. I know wait times have been very long. Is it best to try to see them first thing in the morning or is there another time that is best? Thanks.

The M&G now starts at 9:00 am as soon as the park open. We are very interested in this M&G for our up coming trip and plan on doing it right away as soon as the park opens as there have been reports of 4 hour waits.

Go straight there as soon as the park opens. If you can, try to get the earliest breakfast reservation at Akershus (approx 8:00 AM I believe?) and as soon as you are done eating head right across the way to Anna and Elsa's queue. If you are able to get in and out of Akershus, you could get to the line right at 9:00 while most people are still making their way to the World Showcase.

That's a great idea because a four hour wait is ridiculous.

From what I've ready getting there at park opening and rushing over to the meet and greet is when you will have the shortest wait. I have snagged an 8:05 am ressie at Akershus in a couple of weeks. I plan to head over to the line with my daughter while my mom settles up the bill. Fingers crossed that we will be done with breakfast before rope drop so we can get a good place in line. There is no way that I would wait the 3-4 hour times that I've been reading about! CRAZY!!!

I did have a 9:30, but kept trying and finally ended up with 8:05. I guess I can thank the new reservation cancellation policy for that !

I also got a 8:05 but I got it checking for a table for 5 and not 4. Is it bad that I took a spot for 5 when I only need it for 4?

I don't think so-not just for 1 person. They make a killing off that breakfast-the price is ridiculous! Others might not agree, but I don't think that it's so bad

Yeah I figured one extra person wouldn't be the end of the world. I just don't understand why I could get a 8:05 with 5 people but could only get a 8:20 with 4 people. Doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

Also whats the distance between Akershus and the M&G??
It's right across the way in the Puffin's Roost I think its called. I believe its the store area that you exit through when you ride Maelstrom. From what I've read there will be cast members and also a line should be formed. Apparently a lot of people make Akershus breakfast reservations that they do not keep just to get in the line.

Really? Hopefully the line isn't too bad after we eat

From what I understand, heard, and researched, the "Anna & Elsa M&G" does not officially open until 11 a.m.. However, guests can stand in line beginning at 9 a.m., thus beginning the "2 hour wait."

Like the once popular Rapunzel and Merida M&G's at MK (the one next to the castle), only a certain number of guests are allowed in at a time (Rapunzel's queue held 35-45 guests), and there will be a CM taking 'head' counts. This means, a kindly adult in your party is all that is needed to "save your space" in line…just make sure your party is there and accounted for when it comes time to move into the actual meet-and-greet line.

There are several time slots throughout the day, but know that they do take scheduled 15-20 min. breaks per hour. Check the Disney times guide to find out how long their M&G is going on for that particular day. You can check online as well:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entertainment/epcot/character-meet-frozen/

The reason behind the hours-long wait is a combination of: guest limit and M&G times.

Also, there are 2 lines for the M&G: the actual queue line and the line to get into the queue line. The "actual queue line" is located directly across from Akershus, while the other line begins near the Norway museum, the "Stave Church." My DH hopped in line near the front of the Stave Church around 2:30 p.m. on a Sunday, because the line to him, "didn't look long;" and was told by the attending CM, "you will be waiting 2 hours to get into the last M&G time slot."

I was given the tip: get in line around lunch time. Even hopping in line at this time will still get you at least a 2-hour wait time.

Soooo, here's what we know:

1. There are 2 lines: the "actual M&G" queue, and the "line to wait in to into the M&G queue."

2. There are multiple M&G times throughout the day, with the first one beginning at 11 a.m.. However, you can get in line as early as 9 a.m..

3. Anna & Elsa take a 15-20 min. break for every hour.

4. The M&G queue only holds a certain number of guests, but the exact number eludes me. I read somewhere that that number is 75; so, if there are 6 time slots, only 450 guests will get into that days' round of greets. Thus, for every 75 people, a time slot is filled.

5. If you do not have an early Akershus breakfast reservation, a time that would get you out of the restaurant between 8:50-9 a.m., and you have to make the 7-9 min. fast walk from EPCOT's entrance, it's a safe bet that you could be waiting at least 3-4 hours to meet "Frozen"'s sisters.

We did not have a kindly adult in our party to wait the hours-long wait, so we hopped into the store next to the M&G and were able to catch a glimpse of Anna & Elsa!

****EDIT: According to Disney's online schedule, Anna & Elsa's M&G's are beginning at 9 a.m., with the last one scheduled at 4:20 p.m. for the next 2 weeks.

So, amendments need to be made to the above:

2. M&G's begin at 9 a.m..

5. Guests with the earliest Akershus reservations, have a greater chance of snagging the first M&G of the day. Guests making the trek from EP's entrance, have a betting chance of snagging the 2nd M&G of the day.

Check the times guide, plan accordingly, and have a kindly adult who will do the waiting!

I'm a fast eater so I plan on letting my wife pay the bill while I stand in line and once they are finished she can pass out DD over to me.

With the cancellation policy for Table Service, you may want to verify that you won't be charged a no-show fee for that 5th person that you booked for but won't need.
