Sorry if this is a repeat post...I did a search and didnt come up with much on this info....I have seen many meal vouchers being offered on ebay for what seems to be fairly reasonable prices. I dont recall ever seeing these on the Disney website or having ever heard of them mentioned before. Anybody got any info on these? Thanks.

Don't know much about a meal voucher. All I can tell you is...BE VERY CAREFUL DEALING WITH E-BAY!!! (e.g. $25 to ride in the front of the monorail.)

Yeah I saw that....there are alot of scams like that....some people just dont have a clue....the reason I ask is because in the past week I bet I have seen 25 different auctions for these vouchers.

You should check into the actual price of the meals WITHOUT the vouchers, then add in the cost of shipping, plus hassle of bidding, arranging payment, etc. Some people have paid more than twice what it would cost them to just go to the restaurant and buy the meal outright.

Most of them I have seen have been going for 10-13 per voucher...they include main course, drink and dessert I know I can usually eat cheaper than most of the "package" deals but sometimes these might help to splurge if you can find a resturaunt that honors them.

Do a search, there was a topic about this a week ago. Basically the vouchers are offered as parts of packages. There isn't any markings on them that state that those who purchased them have to use them. There is an experation date on them. Also, they are only good at specific places.

I did some research on them for the next edition of the Unofficial Guide. In general, they're not a good deal unless you plan to order (and eat) the most expensive things on the menu all the time. Even then, depending on shipping, you'd only save a buck or two on most in-park dining establishments. But that's a lot of food, too.

YMMV.

We got Character Breakfast Vouchers with our 10 Day Passes in the UK and the expiration date is something like June 2004.

Also, there doesn't appear to be anything on there to say it has to be presented with the park pass. Infact, if we do Chef Mikey then we wouldn't even need to pass to get to the meal.
