MDE Map Issue with Samsung Galaxy / Android

I noticed an issue with My Disney Experience app on Android. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8.

The default map is the Magic Kingdom (I think, well at least it is on mine). If you then select a different park, say Epcot and hit "Apply"....nothing happens! The map doesn't move at all from the Magic Kingdom. If I remember correctly when I used the Map in past trips, whenever you changed a park it "jumped" right to the park you selected.

I contacted Disney about it, and there response was something like.."We're aware of issues and are addressing them". Kind of generic. And this was two weeks ago....still having the problem.

Is anyone else encountering this issue? I ask because it would be a pretty big pain to have to "find" a park on the map by navigating with your fingers or pinching the map, then doing it every single time you tap other options, etc.

Yes, I noticed this on Monday while at Animal Kingdom. I had to hit the "location" arrow on the map for it to jump to the park. The app used to be hassle free, in my experience, but now it is becoming a mess.

Hey thanks for that great screen shot. I realized that I don't see that arrow because I'm not currently in one of the parks.

So, after you select a park, you tap this arrow and the map then changes to the selected park?

I know I'm a little late to the party, but in the World now, and noticed the same thing on my Android. When on the Home screen (with all the planning options), the small bit of map at the top is always my current location. When I tap the map or select the Wait Times option, it defaults to the Magic Kingdom. Then I just tap the navigation-style arrow on the bottom-left (like AJH mentioned above), and it jumps to my current location. I can't say that I've tried to switch to a park I'm not currently in, as I just pinch/move/expand to the area/park I want to look at.
