Hi All,

Ok I will be going in May with my wife 2 kids ( 5yr & 12 mths) nd grandma will be coming also. We are staying for 6 day but the last day is what I am worried about. We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Our flight does not leave until 9PM. What do I do with 2 small kids and no hotel room after the posted checkout time. I would love suggestions, ideas, experiences. I am kind of baffled as to what to do. We will not be moving a flight time due to it being a chartered group. Help a Brother out please!!!!

Hello my fellow firefighter.

As far as I am aware, extended check out times may be accomodated if requested. It never hurts to ask.

I have the oppposite problem as check-in is stated to be 3pm and my plane doesn't touch down in Sanford until 5pm.

Head to Downtown Disney, go over to Boardwalk Inn and browse around. For that matter head to any hotel you might like to try in the future and look around.

Do you mean checking into your resort? You can check-in any time of day, it's just that they don't guarantee your room to be ready until at least 3pm.

Hi there, Most of my trips I specifically book a later flight ( More time in Disney you know!!) I pack everything up, either use the resort check in for my flight and send my luggage on it's way to Orlando International Airport or put both my luggage and my carry on in the luggage storage area. Then I head for breakfast and go play in a park until about 1 hour prior to my Disney's Magical Express pick up time at which point I have to head back to the resort. You are also free to use the grounds of your resort as well as Downtown Disney as well, so dont worry about keeping everyone entertained and comfortable, it wont be any problem! Have a wonderful trip!! Belle

I would check the main pool area at POR.....many of the moderate hotels have changing and showering facilities at them. You could spend the day relaxing by the pool- then shower and change in enough time to catch your flight. We've done that many times at Carribean Beach Resort and others.

Check your luggage with luggage area or send it on with magical express. then, spend the day at the pool at POR and then go to DTD for some food and fun.......
