As I sit here talk to you all about various peak and off times I was wondering about may. With the buzz of easter so far past and schools not out yet, how is may?

Generally it is a moderate time, although with the kickoff of the 50th I beleive that the crowds may be impacted by it. I know when I was planing on going the second week in May the only Mod rooms that were available were at POFQ.

We stayed in late May last year - most of time the crowds were moderate, but on certain days the parks were worse than others (for no *obvious* reason.) The first day we were at MK and we got on everything without much trouble, the next time we stopped over there it was so crowded there was over an hour wait for HM (unusual for our trips.)

All in all my advice would be to plan well and be ready to use those FastPasses; it really helped. Other than that, the crowds are nothing compared to Easter time, which I've also experienced, so you should be in pretty good shape. Have a great time!

I went in May last year and it was pretty moderate. BTMR and Splash were both 45 min waits, but Space Mountain was like 5. I think it will probably be little heavier this time, what with it being the start month for the Happiest Celebration, but I also think that a lot of people will still be in school so the crowds won't be like they are at peak. (If they are, guess I'll be taking advantage of Fastpass and EMH! )
