May or September?

So I'm weighing my options for my hopefully (fingers crossed guys) 2016 trip to Disney. Now I'm going to start a new job in a couple of months when I'm out of school at hopefully a hospital but since idk how they work yet with vacations well....anyway I'm getting off topic lol. What would you guys recommend May or September? If you've gone during these times please share your experience ie weather, crowds, specials (ex flower and garden or DDP)
Please and thank you!

We need time for things to happen.
Been at both times of year several times each.
Crowd wise very similar. Moderate and managable.
Weather wise - different - september is rainy and muggy. May is hot in the sun comfortable in the shade and dry.

Who are these people who like September weather?! There was so much whining and complaining about the heat, humidity, and excessive rain on these boards this September. Crowds are certainly reduced, though. We've always enjoyed May. It's much less muggy and rainy than September and not much risk of hurricanes. It is certainly hot by Memorial Day, though.
Is it ever NOT humid and rainy in Florida? Lol

We've been to several Septembers, early and late, as well as several Mays, all early. I'd give the edge to a post-Labor day but before F&W September trip simply because you also get the benefit of seeing MK decked out in Holloween gear without any harsh crowd action!

I've been the first week in May a couple of times in recent years. The weather was gorgeous. Mid-80s during the day, with a seemingly-moderate humidity level. The really warm/humid weather seemed to move in as we were leaving at the end of the week. But all of this September talk is also very helpful--I'm currently debating between a late-September/early-October or early-November trip for this year. :D
