When can I expect to be able to book for 2017 on Disney.com? We just went for the first time in May and we're already itching to go back! We're considering May or October. We got 30% off of our room when we went in May - can I expect to see that again for May or October 2017? Thanks.

I think the 2017 rates come out sometime mid summer.

So far this year, for my dates at least, the same discounts are not offered as they were in 2015. That may change though, from what I've seen the room only discounts do not come out until a few month prior to the travel dates.

If you will go with or without the discount then book it and hope that one becomes available later on!

From my understanding- no. My TA told me this is not possible, that you have to book an entirely new reservation.

If you are willing to change resorts/room types then you can either book a new one or just wait to book at all. But if you want a specific room/resort, then book it and hope for the best. I know that promotions like free dining weren't available to all resorts and all room types. I don't care about free dining, but do want the 30%! My resort has been showing sold out or close to sold out for the past 2 months, so I'm glad that I didn't wait for a promotion, and will go regardless.

I won't switch my resort or room type though, so basically just counting on a little luck that it will be offered, and that I'll be able to grab the same room type under the promotion!

I am hearing that packages for 2017 will be released 6/21. If a discount comes out that apply for your dates, you can absolutely call and apply it to your reservation if there is availability. In both May and October I see that in past years there has been a door discount. Free dining usually happens in the fall, but there were no October dates this year.

I'm in it for the 30% off of deluxe resorts. We have 3 little kids, so staying on the monorail loop is invaluable. Thanks for the into! Looking forward to June 21st!

If I were to choose, I would pick October 2017. More likely that Avatar will be open by then.

There are no discounts yet for 2017 but the packages are available for booking! If you book now and a discount comes available we can switch it to the discounted rate, or if it's more than 30 days from travel it can be changed to a room/resort with a discount.
