Ok my sister was talking about taking a trip to Disney in 2006 with a few friends. After talking it over, we came up with:

Pop Century-2 rooms
Check in May 29
Check out June 2
Parks Monday May 30-Wednesday June 1
3 day park hopper
5 people: 2-20y.o; 2-19 y.o; 1-18 y.o

the 18 year old wants to take the train. I want to drive but open to taking the train if it comes out cheaper. Do you think this is a good time to go? A good plan? We will not be needing PS's or anything like that because we don't plan on going to any of the restaurants or character breakfasts. We just want to go down and visit the parks and have a good time. We will be taking snacks and breakfast foods down to cut down on the cost of food, etc. Is this a smart plan? Help me

If you're about saving money on your trip (and who isn't ?) and you have the use of a vehicle I would seriously check out the price of a rental home and compare that against two resort rooms - might just save you a few $$

Sounds good to me. Have you checked into train rates yet? It may be more expensive than you realize. The few times I've done it, it was more expensive than flying. I also prefer the freedom of driving and I can get down there faster.

Have fun!
