Was looking at prices for May 2018 and hotel room prices have tripled in the matter of 3 weeks. off site hotels are bad as well. Any idea what is going on in early to mid may? no holidays and nothing else i can see that would cause it.

Yes that is true, but 3 weeks ago prices at values were in the $120-$130 range, now $349 a night. something has to have changed. Disney Springs hotels are the same and most dont have rooms available now. Toy Story Land perhaps? Do they know a date we don't?

What are you pricing? dates etc? Disney doesn't change their rates for a year once they set them in June/July.

May 7 for a week. Take a look on disneyworld.com or the Disney springs hotel sites. B resort wants $999 a night. Something is up.

EDIT: After looking again there are no longer any values left. But moderate prices seem a bit lower again. Had some friends looking to go and the prices have jumped and availability has dropped.

May 7-14, 2 adults, I am seeing Pop for $150/night plus tax and an AOA Suite for $402.

If I go to http://www.bhotelsandresorts.com/b-resort-and-spa/ - and Book Now, I get rates from $111-$525, depending on the room type.

I did get the $999 when going thru the Disney Springs Resorts page. They must be updating it for this new announcement.

Where are you seeing that for pop? Would like to be able to direct my friends there.

I know from my own experience, when I go back to book the same length vacation on the Disney site or to check back on a vacation I recently priced (not saved), they will automatically add additional park ticket days for the length of my stay and not what I previously selected, possibly increasing the overall vacation costs. Then I normally have to go back and re-select the right amount of tickets. (I normally don't go to the parks everyday throughout the entire stay at Disney.)
