I know May 2014 is a little off, but I am just so excited to go!! It will be a short trip(Fri-Mon), but I am the one calling all the shots, so any ADR suggestions would be great! I am going to plan this trip crazily, but it will keep me very happy.

Don't feel bad about how far your trip is. I'm going this December, and I booked in late November last year.

For your ADRs, whom will you be traveling with? And what ages?

Try to get Be Our Guest. You'll have to book at exactly 180 days out and you should get up so you can book right at 6 am, but it's well worth it. You'll also have to put a credit card on the reservation. My other favorites include Teppan Edo, Les Chefs de France, and La Hacienda, all in Epcot. If you want one in Hollywood Studios, Prim Time Cafe is the one that's consistently good. Have fun!

I forgot to mention BOG. Hopefully, by May 2014 the Rez situation should be at least slightly better.

'OHANA! Book a time when Wishes will be happening and request a window near a table, if you're lucky enough to get one you'll have a great view for the show. Or, book an earlier dinner and then go watch Wishes from one of the two (the less crowded) beaches at Polynesian. Well worth it.

I think you should just check out all the restaurants online and go with whatever looks good!

...unless Tony's looks good, in which case you should keep on looking.

The wildly popular restaurants (Boma and Le Cellier have both fallen into that category) aren't really better than the others. They're just popular in the Disney community. Ohana may become one.

Pick the stuff that interests you and you won't go wrong!

My only suggestion is that if you want to eat at the Garden Grill, try to ride Living With the Land before you eat there, so you know what you're seeing. :)

Oh wow, what weekend are you going??? I'm doing the same thing for my 16th birthday the first-2nd week of May. Been planning since about 2011, lol. I'm planning on eating at BOG as well. Good luck! :D

Would be kinda hard to have a window near a table if you are seated in the center of the room!!
Seriously though, i get what you were trying to say.

We're going in May 2014, too! It will be 3 generations going together, aged 5-72, so there are many different tastes to accommodate. That being said, after distributing a dining survey and gauging everyone's interest in the various restaurants (yes, I really made a 4-page written survey and my family members gamely filled it out!) here's what we decided on for our table-service meals, in order to get a "well-rounded" food experience that incorporates different types of meals (e.g., some buffets, some character meals, some international cuisines, etc.). The ADR line-up (if we can get them, otherwise I revert to the "runners-up") we chose -- and which I hope will give the OP some ideas -- is as follows:

- Day 1 - Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern (MK, all-you-can eat Colonial American Thanksgiving fare)
(*Runner-up: Crystal Palace, MK, American buffet with Pooh characters)

- Day 2 - Dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table (MK, Fancy-ish menu, Princess Character meal)
(*We would have preferred Be Our Guest, but our daughter's birthday will fall on day 2 of our trip and we
allowed her to choose the dinner venue. We felt that two "castle" dinners with "Disney upscale" menus
would be a little redundant, so we'll have lunch at BOG one day instead.)

- Day 3 - Lunch or "milkshake stop" at the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater (HS, old-timey drive-in movie theme)
Dinner show: Hoop-de-doo Musical Revue (FW, All-you-can-eat Western BBQ with slapstick comedy show)
(*Runner-up: Artist Point, a signature American Northwest restaurant at Wilderness Lodge)

- Day 4 - Dinner at the Coral Reef (Epcot, seafood restaurant with glass wall facing into aquarium)
(*Runners-up: The Garden Grill, Epcot, American all-you-can-eat restaurant rotates to show Living with
the Land scenery, and Via Napoli, Epcot, wood-fired pizzas and Italian specialties)

- Day 5 - Dinner at the Biergarten (Epcot, all-you-can-eat German buffet with live polka band)
(*Runners-up: Restaurant Marrakesh, Moroccan restaurant, and Chefs de France, French braisserie)

- Day 6 - Dinner at 'Ohana (Polynesian Resort, all-you-can-eat skewer meats, etc.)
(*Runners-up: Kona Cafe, quieter, more upscale Polynesian-inspired offerings at the PR, or California Grill
at the Contemporary Resort, a signature restaurant)

I actually ate at Be Our Guest over the preview period in November, and had the grey stuff just because my waitress was awesome, we weren't even celebrating!! I really want to try Les Chefs de France, the TRs that feature its food look soooo good!!!!

I really want to try there! I stayed at the Polynesian in 2009, but I do not think we ate there...

Oh my gosh what a group! I like the survey, I gotta try that for the next family trip down to the world!!! I did BOG dinner which was great, so maybe a BOG lunch this round for me? I'm not really sure, I need to decide. Chefs de France looks sooo good from all the TRs, so I might try that for a dinner. My plan is Saturday lunch table service, Sunday dinner table service, Monday breakfast table service. The Coral Reef was on Full House, so as a 90s kid I wanna go there!!! :)

Good. I'd definitely go back if I were you. :) Les Chefs de France is fantastic. Hands down my favorite on property. I recommend the French Onion soup if that's your type of thing as it's the best I get anywhere. The chicken on the Prix Fixe menu is also fantastic. Try to get fries instead of the potatoes because the fries in the sauce are heaven!
