Does anyone know when the park hours and extra magic and morning hours will be posted for May of 2005. Also wondering if Spectro Magic parade only runs certain days of the week, or does it run every day once it gets closer to Summer. It's hard to plan without this info!

Yea, I know its tough to plan vacations without hours. Unfortunately, for the last 2 or 3 years, Disney has not released the park hours more than 2 or 3 months in advance, and even then they often change even after being posted. The best bet to get an idea of the hours for May 2005 is to look back at last year's park hours, which you should be able to find if you search the net (I'll see if I can find a site for you)

As for Spectro, if I remember right, during May it still doesn't run everynight. Right now, I all can guess is that your best bet to see Spectro would be on Fridays and Saturdays.

The following though is the new Extra Magic Hour schedule that starts Jan 2nd. Note that EMH will be offered both in the morning or evening. For the morning days its one hour before hand and for the evening EMH it is 3 hours after normal park closing (Tuesday is the only day that offers BOTH a morning and an evening option):

Ok, I found this site with last year's hours for the month of May on it:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hour...Date=05/30/2004&submit2=Check+Disney+Hours+>>

In general, MK was open 9-9pm most days and occasionally 9-10 or 11pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Future World at Epcot was open 9-7 and World Showcase 11-9 (these hours rarely change). Studios was open 9-8:30pm most days and AK was open 9-5pm everday in May.

Hopefully some of the above helps in your planning :)

I'm going next May, too; and I've been told that Spectromagic runs once every other night throughout the month. Maybe I'll see you there, Tink!

P.S. My aunt and grandparents visited mid-late May, and they loved it. Their longest wait at any attraction was about 20 minutes (and they only actually waited that long once or twice). I have been warned, however, to steer clear of MK and D-MGM over Memorial Day weekend. I don't think I'll be at WDW that weekend anyway, but if you will be, consider yourself warned!

As far as I'm aware SpectroMagic only runs nightly during Peak Times (and then sometimes twice nightly).
Park hours are currently posted on Disneys site approximately 8 weeks in advance AND they are subject to change on a daily basis.
As has been suggested - use last years hours as a guide to plan and then be flexible enough to change when next years hours are posted
