Master Gracy's Grave

I'm REALLY SORRY if this has been mentioned before. But I hear everyone talk about the grave, and the rose, but where is it? And does anyone have pics?

You can barely see the rose on top of the headstone but it's there. CM's are supposed to place a fresh rose on the stone daily and dig up the dirt on the grave once a week but I haven't seen that in years.

last couple of yrs i have been there, the rose was on the grave and also on the mantle near the changing portrait in the foyer.

It's in tribute to Yale Gracey who was the master Imagineer that helped design the HM and POTC.

I think the rose and the digging of the dirt are to give the illusion that Master Gracy's passing was very recient.

We once could only asume he was. The narrator in the attraction only addresses himself as "Your Ghost Host." Remember that fans have made up most of the Master Gracey story. I think since his grave is so prominent in the queue, people have assumed that it is his mansion. I don't believe the rose and digging of the grave began from the start. I don't think it came around until maybe mid to late 80's when guests started to chat about Master Gracey. I could be wrong though. But it's nice to see that Disney has embellished on the Master Gracey (now the official Ghost Host) stories and have added it to that sign.
