Mass convert RAW to JPEG

To everyone who shoots RAW regularly, is there an easy way to convert them to JPEG once your done with them? I've only shot RAW a couple time and of those my shots were limited so I just edited and resaved in Photoshop. However doing that to 500+ shots seems likes a huge pain.

For about 80% of my shots I just use iPhoto for a quick process, so im looking for something to convert them to JPEG right out of iPhoto. The ones that need a lot of work or the ones that I really like and want to work on go into PS and can be resaved easily from there.

Any suggestions? Is there something in iPhoto that does it that I just haven't found? Or can I do it in Bridge if I just transfer all of them from iPhoto and then back again?

Thanks!

The "Digital Photo Professional" software bundled with Canon cameras works if you're looking for a cost-free option. File > Select All > Convert and Save

I haven't used the Nikon software but I imagine they have a similar feature.

On the MAC, check out Aperture 3 - very nice software.

I have a version of Aperture, don't know which though. I got it from a friend who said I should try it about a year ago and I've only used it a handful of times.

I tried playing with the conversion the other night and at one point had lost all of the photos. After getting them back (luckily) I gave up for the night! I will have to go back when I have a decent amount of time to devote to learning how to manage and edit raw files.

I use Aperture 3 on a daily basis, so let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to help. I'm not an expert, but use it a lot, so know the basics.

I'm not positive as I havnt used it personally (Lightroom/Photoshop user here), but I THINK Picasa can do mass raw to jpg conversion too (and for free!)
