Mary Poppins meet at Magic Kingdom moves

I know this might blow some people's minds -

but maybe Mary is allowed to move around a bit. At Disneyland, this is how it works every single day, only the area they can move around in is much, much larger.

I find it depressing that having a character who's not always in the exact same location is actually on the top of the News & Rumors board. Come visit us at DLR if you'd like to see how character interaction is supposed to work. ;)

And I too wish the nanny/sweep look would return, but from what I understand, they were incinerated. Apparently, management at both resorts would rather guests mistakenly assume her for a princess than identify with the brand of the character built up over 50 years.

They still have that option at special events. MK used to use it as the cold weather option since she wore it in the parade, but now that FOF started they have a warmer version of Jolly holiday

No not really. Bert sometimes pops up with her at the Character Palooza set in Hollywood Studios but you're not likely to see him. He appears just about everyday over at Disneyland.
Bert was added as an option to F! Sets last month. He should now be fairly regular along with Dopey, Robin Hood & Mushu. Others were removed

Does she ever appear with Burt?

Not sure if he still appears there, but this picture is one of my favorites. It is from the early 2000s, with my mother and late father waiting to go into the Mary Poppins character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian resort. That was a great day, and a nice memory. My father used to always say "Mickey Rat"! And every trip he always smiled with us and laughed, but also laughed when he said, "I wouldn't give you two cents to go back," or "I don't care if I go back again; I'd just as soon go to Myrtle Beach." (Too many people and too much walking and spending money...).

But he would always go again, if we wanted him to go see Mickey Rat, with us... and obviously Mary Poppins and Bert, too!

He passed away in 2005. So, he is in heaven, and probably laughing about the prices people pay now to see Mickey Rat! And he doesn't need MM+ 60 days in advance to get the best seat in the house.

It's not even an event option at DLR, which is sad. They even changed her in Fantasmic, and brought over the horrifying winter wear from Paris for colder days.

Semi-related question but does Characterpalooza still go on at DHS? I remember hearing a while back that it was being ended.
