I meant they aren't rebooting any film or character in the MCU itself. Obviously they've rebooted Spider-Man and then will do so for FF and Mutants...

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is being described as the first horror film of the MCU, which gets me even more excited. And with Nightmare confirmed to be the villain, I can already see their being a big trippy scene like in the first Doctor Strange or the illusion scene from Far From Home.

Namor I still believe is a fan rumor at this point. Maybe Phase 5, if we're lucky (but I'm still not counting on it).

The main speculation started because Scott Derrickson, director of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, back in March tweeted out a photo of Strange and Namor with the caption "Are You Experienced?" which references a Jimi Hendrix song:

If you can just get your mind together
Then come on across to me
We'll hold hands and then we'll watch the sunrise
From the bottom of the sea

He then deleted the tweet without explanation. Upon further reflection the line "get your mind together" also plays into Madness. Endgame also referenced a disturbance in the ocean.

Previously in 2014 (link) and early 2018 (link) Kevin Feige said the rights were complicated. Then in October 2018 he gave his most positive answer saying Namor could appear, but it's an "if" and "when" situation.
