Actually someone posted the agreement with universal in another thread and it states on page 9 or 10 that 2 years after completion of the land parks east of the MS CAN use characters or character families not used in attractions at universal. So technically that would only eliminate X-Men, The Avengers (Could be argued only Hulk), Spiderman, and the Fantastic 4 as according to it they need to be actual attractions not just have a loose reference to the characters. So there are still Marvel characters they can use for attractions although I'm not sure that Ghost Rider, Blade, or other similar characters fit in at Disney, even at Hollywood Studios.

That said I believe it's already been stated due to a Marvel leak that it has something to do with park concepts in Marvel Comics not the other way around.

I was at first thinking it was Bringing back Guillermo Del Toro's Production company that fell through in 2009..

After the Haunted Mansion queue "enhancements", I would agree.

It's too bad. When I saw photos of the new-queue-in-progress, I thought the individual pieces, like the captain's tomb, looked neat. But when I finally saw the queue complete, in person, it was so cramped and crowded and jumbled and made no narrative sense. And I HATE the new Hitchhiking Ghosts. They look like lame projections; they aren't nearly as convincing as the originals. I guess it could be worse though; maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought there was originally going to be more to the queue, like a mystery game or something that guests were supposed to play, or something. If true I'm glad that idea was dropped. The queue's enough of a mess now as it is.

I read something that I think is related to this today. It was an article about when Disney is going to build a Star Wars land and they also hinted at something else for Florida. I dare not say what it is because it would cause a lot of debate.

I want to put Guillermo Del Toro and Tony Baxter in a room with a billion dollars and see what happens.
With the following condition:
1)They may not build anything that is referential to existing imagineering attraction concepts. The first generation of Imagineers didn't have any old attraction concepts to mine from, neither should they.

You need some musical genius too. Someone as gifted as Danny Elfman. Not to mention a world class financial mind. But I agree a worthwhile investment into Creative.

You still need to find a few practical artists for landscape, set design, voice talent and practical application. An engineer or two wouldn't hurt.

I think you are on the way to collect a group of "old men".

Every so often they talk about doing something with the Museum of the Weird, it's usually in Disneyland, and next to the HM. One time it was going to be part of the HM queue, another time it was going to be a restaurant, and a few years back there talk of a film based on the idea... apparently Rolly Crumb did a ton of concept art for it, and I'm guessing this comic book is just based on that, but If any one knows how to get a copy of the comic though I'd love to check it out
