Marketplace Causeway construction

i wonder how they are doing the stone at the waterline without using coffer dams, waterproof glue prehaps?
and all this stone work definitely explains partially why this has taken so long, this brings isn't going anywhere anytime soon, its definitely far far beefier than the "temporary walkway" that was built over at pleasure island.
its being built to practially road bridge standards, anyone know if this bridge is possibly on "emergency vehicle maps? which would definitely explain the extra bulk.

I've never seen one there, but I"m guessing the fire department has one of those paramedic golf carts parked somewhere at DD or will once the conversion is complete, as DS is suppose to be a town in the end.

I'm noting the volcano has scaffolding once again. Thought that came out of rehab last summer.

Marketplace Causeway construction photo update as of Sunday, Oct 19, 2014. The final portion of the causeway is getting its veneer of stone.

Metal supports for the causeway railings have been installed. Note they are raised from this "floor" to permit a decorative surface to be laid or poured.

The Rainforest Café end of the causeway has all the beige-colored cast concrete covered in plastic, probably to protect it from a soon-to-be poured surface, which would explain the rebar here on the top surface.

The T-Rex end of the causeway (next to Lego here) has its concrete surface laid now, with openings for installation of future buildings or features.

Most of the causeway surface has newly poured concrete. Here you can see the workmen setting forms and rebar for a new section of the surface.

At the Rainforest Café end of the causeway, new rockwork is taking shape at the causeway entrance.

The lake side of the causeway is the final part to get the decorative stonework.

Photo update as of Thursday, Oct 30.

Some very substantial wooden posts are being installed as framing for the causeway railings. The wooden posts are pre-painted/stained.

An update on causeway surface preparation. You can see additional railing posts stacked up in the background, ready for installation.

The faux rockwork near the Rainforest Café end of the causeway has been painted.

At the T-Rex restaurant end of the causeway, foundation work is appearing for a new structure. The Lego store is on the left.
