Kenny The Pirate just made a recent post about Marie from The Aristocats no longer being a meetable character at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Her last day at the Magic Kingdom will be March 25,2016 this Thursday and Stitch will be replacing her at the Magic Kingdom the next day. According to Kenny's comments on the situation, it appears that Marie won't be seen anywhere else in Walt Disney World after March 25. So if you are visiting Walt Disney World sometime this week, Thursday is your last chance to be able to meet Marie. However you can still be able to meet Marie at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney Resort where she's a common character.

Marie was first spotted at Walt Disney World meeting guests at the France Pavilion in Epcot from 2007 - 2012 where she meet guests near the Flag Pole in Main Street USA next to Pluto.

One of the odder decisions, Stitch was originally removed to be replaced budget wise with Rafiki who you can meet in DAK. People complained about Stitch being gone and now he's being brought back but replacing another unique characer. You think they would have just replaced Rafiki...

Aside from the VIPs like Mickey and the gang, most characters who meet on Main Street don't make much sense when you think about it. Snow White is a fairytale princess from Germany, Aurora is a fairytale princess from France, what do either of those two have to do with small town USA around the turn of the century? Mary Poppins kind of fits because she has that Victorian style or era to her but she's from London.

Same goes for Super Heroes in Tomorrowland...
