Margaritaville Resort Orlando

Does anyone have any information on the planned opening date for the new Margaritaville Resort on the 192?
There's an updated website to register for updates etc, but so far, no clues about an actual opening date anywhere online etc.

I think they were just breaking ground there in June when we were in Orlando. I was a bit intrigued to see that they were building a whole resort. Is it going to basically be a spring break type atmosphere?

Looking at the renderings on their website;

• Resort Hotel
• Beach style resort pool/lagoon area
• Vacation rental cottages
• Eventually a water park, but no word on whether that is open to the public or just resort guests etc

Drove by a few times over the last few weeks and it looks huge!

Lots of building going on the company I work for we ship concrete daily to the project. My understanding was Summer 2018 for Phase I opening.

Last I talked to someone connected to the project told me early fall. The only date I've heard is "By Christmas 2018" for the hotel.

I know they are selling cottages and looking for investors as I was on their list at one point and kept getting updates. The last time I got an update was right before Christmas and they were "hoping" to have it open by mid summer 2018 as the first phase of the cottages were sold but not finished being built.
