Marching Band at Disney

Hey guys,boy its been a while since i posted but anyways i thought id tell ya if anyone is interested, my marching band,The George Jenkins High School Dream Maker Band will be at MK on Friday the 12th.We will performing at 2:30 sort of like a pre parade.So if anyone wants to look for me i play the Susaphone (its a big tuba that you wear on your shoulder) and ill be towards the back on the outside and ill proably have on a Santa hat with Mickey ears.:xmas: :wave: So if you wanna say hi just watch the parade and youll see me.

That's cool! My high school marching band was supposed to go my Senior year, but because of 9-11 we didn't get to go. The school board banned trips that involved flying and my band director didn't feel like driving 26 hours from north of Detroit to Orlando with 100+ teenagers. He's really no fun at all! We ended up in Cleveland, Ohio instead (definately not WDW!)

What a wuss!! We do it from SW Michigan, with about 250 people . That stinks though!

Thanks for the support guys and as for the backstage stuff ive been back there before. At MK behind BTM and pirates.All they got back there are the parade floats and Spectromagic costumes.Oh and the water parade floats and we got to see the boneyard where the 20k subs were, and last year we went back behind EPCOT. Man i wanted to go explore everything back there so bad.Lots of cool stuff back there.And there were EPCOT maps back there that still had Horizons on them but a peice of tape that said M:S was placed over the name of Horizons.

Yeah he can be at times, but he's still a great guy. He did take 100 of us to England for 12 days when I was a sophmore.

Well im back.I had a great time Friday and my band did very well.Since we were the only band marching that day we got to be the band marshalls.It was really a neat experience.Backstage there was really nothing new.Just the same stuff as always.COP was open and i went on,we got stuck for a few minutes in the 40s and so when we went into the final scene it had already started but i did get a little scared on COP for the first time because the AA of the kid on the stool in the final scene was shaking violently and i do mean violently.I thought he was gonna go flying off.:lol: Well thats it for now sorry this is late but ive been busy since friday so this is really the first time ive beeen on since then.Later
