March Trip

Does anyone know when they will post hours for the parks? Is it 3 months in advance still? So we will have to make dining reservations on the blind, not knowing if EMH, or shows like Phantasmic are playing that day.

Also I am going Mar 8-14, how will the weather be? What type of clothes should I bring for day and night? What will crowds be like?

Are there any special events that go on during this vacation period, I am staying at Bay Lake.

Park hours are kind of in limbo right now. Normally they would be out 90 days in advance but dining will be going back to 180 days on 10/27/2009. Hopefully they will have hours out all the way up until May 2010 before the big switch. About all you can do is use the March schedule from 2009 and adjust your dates to align with the days of the week and use that for your planning.

Good idea about using the march schedule, personally I will be avoiding the EMH, and my number 1 priority is to get into Fantasmic which I have missed the last two years/trips, figure I will package it with the Brown Derby or Hollywood and Vine.

It will all depend on if the schedule is out or not. They should know but this ADR window switch is kind of unknown territory. No one really knows for certain what is going to happen.

Well, I'm planning to go the first week of March and I've been wondering the same thing... so I sent a question off to the Mom's Panel to see what they would say... and here it is...

Now that we will be able to book ADRs 180 days out again, will Disney be updating the park calendars 6 months out again?

Yes. We have been told that beginning in late October 2009, Disney will again post the park calendars six months in advance.
