Thanks for the scoop. I tried calling Disney to see if they would let me book our vacation now using those codes, but they wouldn't. They did verify that the code that I was trying to use was pending, so those codes are correct. Man, I can't wait until Tuesday!!!

Considering you are taking information directly from the e-mail sent out to travel agents by their disney reps, it looks to me like you may be an agent or have a friend that is.

Seems like you are the touchy one here. You are obviously looking for attention by making a post on the discount codes your first post.

I currently have a reservation. If I called with the code on thursday, could I change it... or do I need to cancel and then book a new one?

Ha! Well, I don't think I deserve much credit! :-)

Remember I can't verify anything in those codes since I took them from a website...but...

Based upon the response from Pam it looks like they must be the same as was in the email she received from her disney rep.

I'd call your travel agent, or call Disney the morning of the 9th. Give them your current reservation number and tell them you want to apply the codes to your exisiting reservation. My experience has been that they will take good care of you...

I have to agree with Pam here she called this a while ago. As far as information dissemination, I understand that and fully appreciate the position, but what if Disney stops giving codes because they are not being used by the appropriate people and at the right time? I had spoken to a lady at CRO who said this very exact thing regarding another source of codes that is fairly well known. This source was severly chastised by Disney for making codes available to the public BEFORE CRO could book them!!! Im sure Pam is just holding the codes until she and every one else can use them. At that point, I an pretty much bet that Disney themselves will put it on their own website!!! I have always seen the Dream Maker Package specials there. No great secret to anyone at that point!!! Belle

Here's a dumb question: Are these the AP rates or are they different?

Also, would these room only discounts be in addition to my AAA discounts?

hi John, No question is dumb!!! These are NOT the AP rates. AP rates are usually a bit better than the prices listed. Alas no AP rates listed as of the moment though. As far as combining discounts I dont believe that Disney will let you do that. Belle

You have to give up your AAA discount to take advantage of the new codes. We ran into that last year. AAA will still book for you, but not under their discount.

Thanks! I'll be certain to be on the phone bright 'n early on the 9th. The Disney reservation people have always been extremely nice in my experience too. (Maybe they could teach a lesson to those Dell tech folk.... but I digress!)

Here's another dumb :brick: sorry Belle - question: Are the quoted rates the only ones available or are they just cited as examples? So since the Poly LV concierge is not listed, does that mean that it is not available?

And I thought there was an advantage to having the Disney Visa:( Silly me. These rates are the same as the DV for the same period.:rolleyes: Guess I'll go back to using my 2% cash back card
