Suntrust Bank is leaving and will be replaced with Bank of America at all on property locations. ATMS included
Really? Will there be a mix? I thought they were all changing to Bank One. Learn something new every day.

Hey FLCM!

First of all, thanks for taking the time to post all these updates.

Do you know if pirates will be keeping their costume? I really hope they dont have to wear a generic adventureland costume.

thanks again

not sure one way or the other on any other custume changes. The AL changes were for merch and foods I beleive. All attractions are reamining the same. In Frointerland, we have 4 diff attractions with 4 diff custumes. And all 4 are seperate from each other, but there are plans to merch the TSI with CBJ, as far as having the same CM's and same custumes. And at the Mountains, they are seperate and will stay that way, but having the same custumes will make for better theming when CM's must work at both due to staffing issues. The custumes look great and are well themed, and will have a shorts option, so I dont think that it is that bad of an idea. Theming is not being sacrificed, and in fact, I think that it is better this way. Anyway, hope this helps, Pirates, HM, ect custumes will not go anywhere. I hope.:)

Actually, Bank of America, BankOne, and First USA Bank are all the same corporation. They just have different names for different operations. My guess is that all ATMs will probably have the BankOne name on them, to match the new credit card.

I did not know that.

Any idea why they operate on such different policies?

Thanks for the update. I'm not counting on June (when we'll be there) for Mission: Space.

I hope the M:S opening results in a significant attendance increase at Epcot. That would encourage Disney to get started on their other "Gemini" projects. I'm sure they'll be watching with interest.

Why does any corporate entity use different sub-entities to have different policies.

If you think about it, it's kinda like all of the Disney movie studios. Disney, Touchstone, Miramax, etc. all produce different types of films.

I'm not privy to the inner workings of BofA, but I do know that, combined, the corporation is the largest issuer of credit cards in the country (the world?).

Hi--long time reader, first time poster....

Just wanted to clarify...B of A and Bank One are not under the same umbrella corporation. They are 2 very distinct, very separate banks. Bank One and First USA have merged into one bank, though. All ATM's in WDW will have the Bank One logo to reflect the new partnership between Disney, Bank One and Visa.

Thanks for the update! I always look forward to yours!

So why did they change the BTMRR spiel at all? Couldn't they have just added the Spanish one too it? I'm disappointed that it doesn't sound quite the same, I loved that voice! It totally got me in the mood for the ride! Oh well.. and I wonder if it will be open when I'm there for my honeymoon Sept 21-28th! I hope so, its one of my fiance's favorites. Please keep us informed! Thanks so much!

In refernce to the BTMRR rehab, you said looks like late summer........do you hink the 3rd week in August would fall under its rehab? Or even the 2nd week?

Good luck to you guys who get to man the ladder. I wonder if the ladder will be a separate attraction inside M:S. I would like to be in charge of installing the FASTPASS machines in the lader queue area ;)

Yes, I think it will be closed for all of aug/sept/first part of oct. If it happens at all, I am still not sure, as I havent heard anything official yet.

Would disney be stupid enough to close a mountain during the tail end of the summer season? It would make more sense to wait till after labor day--the summer season is in question already; disney would not be smart to do this as it would hurt numbers, even if Mission: SPACE IS open.

OK, I knew that. Really, I did. It's just that I was thrown off by the earlier post about the expectations of the new ATMs being BofA and then they were BankOne instead. I should've dismissed the BofA part. :hammer: :hammer:
