March 13-20..special trip

Well, here's a brief review of my trip

Sunday March 14th
We headed over to the Magic Kingdom for our first day of fun. Got there around 10am to realize we were in for a long day. The weather was great, not to hot but the sun was shinning. The lines were long and the fastpass's were done quickly. Actually, by the time we made it to space mountain for a fast pass, the only time we could get was right in the middle of the parade so we skipped it and waited in line. PhillarMagic was GREAT! I loved it and loved how Donald Duck was a big part of it as he is one of my favorites...on the same token, I was dissappointed that Mickey was a small part of it!
For the final event...WISHES. My girlfriend and I went on a stroll to find a nice quiet place for a special something. We walked to the right of the castle (if standing in front) down this small pathway that leads to a bus/train stop type thing to watch the show. Well, as the Wish upon a star music came on, I asked a nice lady to take a few pictures of my girl and I then I dropped to one knee and PROPOSED. She instantly starting crying her eyes out as I watched in complete happiness! Finally after she calmed down, she said YES! It was THE most incredible moment of my life!!!! Her face and actions will NEVER be forgotten!

Monday, March 15th
Spent the day at MGM. Once again the park was a crowded disaster. Fastpasses were gone before you knew it. Only got to ride the RnRC once cuz time wouldn't allow us for waiting in line again. Had some lunch at the Prime Time Cafe which was great...great food and entertainment. We got to see alot, much which was all of the same to me since I've been many times but it was fun watching my "fiance" (sp?) face on all of the attractions. Finally, Fantasmic....I love this show, I could watch it over and over again and I was glad to see she loved it as much as I did.

Tuesday, March 16th
RAIN...all day
We decided to take this as a day of chilling out since the rest of the weeks weather was looking good

Wednesday, March 17th
Early in the Morning we headed over to the Animal Kingdom and had a great Safari ride. We got to see alot of animals and once again, Lia's (my fiance) face was priceless. She was like a kid in a candy store seeing all the animals. We did as many rides as we could and we also watched the Festival of the Lion King which we absolutely loved. It was my first time seeing this as well and I loved it. If you haven't seen it...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Next we headed over to Epcot for some Mission Space! HOLY space flight BATMAN...That ride was CRAZY. I had a span of about 20 seconds where I thought I was going to toss my cookies but the take off and ending was just insane. Aside from the sick feeling I loved it. That take-off was intense!!!
We didn't have much time at epcot but we got to see alot of things and we had a great time...
To be honest, Illuminations was a great show but it seemed to be missing something. Maybe it's because the other shows are my favorite (especially wishes) so I'm biased. Regardless, Lia loved it and that's all that mattered to me!!!

Thursday, March 18th
We headed over to Islands of Adventure/Universal to meet up with some friends I know down in that area. To make a long story short, we laughed, went on the rides and had a great great time.

Friday, March 19th
Relaxed in the sun for most of the day, went to downtown disney for some last minute shopping then headed back to the room to pack.

Saturday, March 20th
We went home :(

Well, I can't explain all the fun times we had during the trip but there was many...too many.
It was my first vacation with Lia and I'm glad she had as much fun as I did. Now WDW is as special to her, as it is to me...I can't wait to go back!!!

I am a little upset that Mickey Mouse is very scarce in the parks. I only saw him a couple times but the other characters were out and about to no end.

Anyway, that's all for now...I'll post some pics when I get some time and I will post back when they are up.
