I just thought this was funny...go about half way down the page and look at what Marc was developing for Disneylands Fantsyland.... Does this remind you of any ride in Epcot lol. I'm just saying, I know it's a coincidence, but still lol

I was speaking about the Fantasyland boat ride through a winter palace, but yes you are correct. As well as The prairie dog and Buffalo seen in living with the land, as well as many nods to thunder Mesa in Disneyland Paris

Yes there have been so many great ideas and concepts that were thought up that could have been blockbusters, only to be passed on and shelved. Cant help but think that someone dusted off Marc Davis's idea and got inspired to use it as a jumping off point to develop whats now in EP.

I have a feeling the FEA designers did look at some of Davis' work. The way the movie makers were familiar with Disney's older tries to make an ice queen movie. A good idea never dies at WDI, as they say. For all we know, Davis work, even if subconsciously in somebody's head, swayed attention to the Norway boat ride.

What's up my main man? Hope all is well! I think it was said that Ward had started work on WOM, but wasn't good enough, so they quietly called Marc, he said no, then ended up helping a little. You would know best though! See you in September my man
