Marathon pics!

I ran the half Saturday then hobbled out Sunday to watch the marathon. That was actually a lot of fun!

First go to the HP Fieldhouse to get your number and shoe tag.

Next to the Jostens Center to pick up the valued t-shirt and check out the expo.

Absolute chaos!

Oh yes, this shirt is mine! You could get your name and/or time printed on it but I decided just to grab it now.

Hit MK about 0800 to try and catch the runners there. Here is mile 9 at the TTC.

This is a shot from the monorail of runners entering MK.

Got into the park and there was no sign of a race! Was everyone through by 0900? So I headed over to Buzz and finally hit 999,999. Then the MK monorails were shut down so I had to take the ferry to the TTC then on to the monorail to Epcot.

Once at Epcot, checked out the finish line first. These crazy people just ran 26+ miles!!!

And finally, some pics of runners inside Epcot. Saw two runners that had stopped to pick up a beer for the finish!

A few more. A CM yelled at me when I had one foot just inside a yellow cone. Meanwhile park guests were running across the course in front of the runners. :shrug:

I think it was about that time. My friend ran by about noon and I was waiting for a while. Congrats!

Hope I'm not stealing your thread, but I thought since you started it by posting pics that we could all share pics in this thread from the weekend. We signed up our <1 daughter for the "Diaper Dash" so the first couple pics are from that. Then I grabbed a couple of the pics from my marathon...

The gravediggers were at the Halloween 5K. As we exited MK one said "Rest is just around the corner" then you turn the corner and there is another one next to a grave. Hilarious! :lol:
