Man Versus Disney.

Id have to say hitting every kiosk (almost) in WS during Food and Wine in a 12 hr period LOL (Thats a task, believe me!!)

Ok, so here's my crowning achievement when it comes to food at Disney. My fiancee and I went to Yachtsman Steakhouse and I had to have that porterhouse. She got the sirloin I believe and ordered it "medium". When I ordered mine I said "medium as well". This plays into the story. We split the cheese tray to being with and had some bread with that amazing roasted garlic. Mmmmm. The meal comes and I dive into my steak. The fries are fantastic and I chow most of those down. My usual method is to eat mostly sides first and enjoy a nice steak as a finale. I start getting into the steak and soon realize that it's cooked a little more than I prefer. I look at her steak and it's cooked perfectly. I keep eating it hoping that the center of the loin part is better, as the outside sometimes is cooked more than the center. No dice. It's not cooked like hers. At this point I realize what happened. The waiter heard me say "medium well", not "medium as well". I feel dumb and I want to make sure that it was indeed my screw up. I called him over and politely asked if that was in deed the case. His jaw dropped and he looked horrified. He started to apologize profusely. I kept telling him it was my fault, no worries, no big deal. He begged me to "let [him] fix this. Let [him] make it right". So I gave in and off he went with my plate, but not before me telling him to not bring any more sides as I had already finished off everything expect for half the steak. To my amazement, shortly after the chef comes out and places down my plate. He apologizes and asks me to cut into it to make sure it was properly done. Again I tried to explain it was my fault but they wouldn't hear it. I then realize that the plate isn't just the steak, it's a full meal again. So, after all was said and done, I ate half the first steak, all the first sides, the whole second steak, most of the second sides, half the cheese tray, some bread, and most of another side that her and I split. I was stuffed. Oh, and we split a Beaches and Cream sundae afterwards too.
