Making a reservation for family or friends

Can someone give me a guide on doing this right?
I am booking for my cousin, his girlfriend and her daughter.
So far I just have the reservation booked and just his name and info on it.
What are the next steps, what does he have to do? Any advice is welcomed, they are traveling in March.

Does he have an MDE account? If not he needs to make one.
His GF and her daughter need to have one too, but he could create profiles for them and manage them himself.
You will have to add the GF and daughter to the reservation, you’ll need their names, and age if the daughter she’s a child.

And then he can link the reservation to his MDE account.

Yes you will. Otherwise they won’t be registered as resort guests. They can’t be added within MDE because the reservation is through DVC.

So for him to link the reservation to his account I just have to give him the reservation number?

Yes.
Although he might not need to, it might automatically link if he’s on your friend and family list. I know it has for my DS when I booked for him.

We’ve found that the automatic link sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. He will need to ensure it is there.

It hasn't for me lately so definitely double check!
