Make your own Disney World stuff?

I was just curious if other people ever made their own Disney World merchandise for fun. I've made several t-shirts and am in the process of making a few more for my August trip. I've also customized my backpack and made a few hats as well.

I'll post pictures later tonight. Anyone else???:)

I make shirts for my sons each time we go to WDW. I also have my wife embroider my shirts with the Disney "D" font or an outline of Mickey.

I keep trying to work up the courage to do more designs for my wife to embroider, but the time and patience involved to program the designs are beyond right now.

Epcot retro shirts, eh? Very cool.

I'm sure many of you are familiar with the ones I made for my vacation last year. If not, there's a link in my signature. The ones I'm making this year include a WoM and a Horizons dedication, a comedy warehouse, and a splash mountain so far. I just made a Wilderness Lodge hat and am in the process of designing a new Disney Golf logo for a different hat.

And, yeah, if you guys have pics of your actual items or even just a quick pic of the design I'd love to see them.

:)

I have a question!

I was thinking of designing t-shirts for my next trip (which is next year)...

All I would need to make them would be blank t-shirts (duh!) and iron-on transfers.

Can my HP photo inkjet printer make WHITE ink, so I could, say, use a DARK colored t-shirt? How would it print out white ink?

Anyway, thanks for the help.

Just use dark t-shirt transfers. They're opaque.:)

Ok, here's a few examples of the t-shirts I'm making for this year.

All designs will be centered across the chest of each shirt:

Splash Mountain
Comedy Warehouse
Horizons (I know the years aren't right on either of these yet.)
World of Motion
Old WDW Logo

Then, the mickey head golf logo is one I put together by taking off his ears and replacing them with golf balls, and will most likely be put on a hat.:)

Enjoy! I'll post pics of the actual shirts when they're done. I've also been customizing my backpack for my visit. I'll post a pic of that and the Wilderness Lodge hat tomorrow night.:)
