a little something dawned on me yesterday concerning JKR's mention of unexpected foreshadowing in movie #3. btw, just to warn you, i'm throwing in a LotR: Return of the King spoiler...just in case you needed to be warned
i started thinking about how Harry told Hermione in the movie that he wanted to get a house in the country, that he thought Sirius would like that. so i did some researching in book 3 (too bad all kinds of reseach isn't as fun as HP research) and Harry never mentioned living in the country with Sirius. so, imo, this has brought up two more options.
a.) Sirius will somehow come back and he and Harry will live happily ever after in a house in the country
b.) there's a whole other world behind that veil...a country setting, perhaps. and seeing as there's so many parrallels to LotR, maybe Harry will pull a Frodo on us. you know how Frodo was unhappy in the Shire because he had been through so much, and had been so tainted that it just wasn't the same anymore? not to mention he was slowly dieing from the wound inflicted by the Witch King. Anyway, he allowed himself to go with the elves to the undying lands. so what if Harry does something similar? honestly, how happily can he live his life (if he destroys Voldemort) knowing that his godfather is still behind that veil? maybe he'd be tempted the rest of his life to step into the veil...then again, maybe he WILL step into the veil where he can live with Sirius, and maybe even his parents. therefore, he'd be living in the country with Sirius....hopefully i'm explaining myself clearly.
of course, these are just random thoughts that i'm throwing into the void...nothing more. as has been mentioned more than enough times on this thread, anything is still possible.
