So they changed it in 2001? So weird because I just don't remember the center street at all. And I've been going to WDW since 1984. (Being a local, I've been more times than I can count.) The pics just never look familiar at all which is so so weird.

Center Streets must be hard to notice. I never knew to genuinely "look for" Center Street East until I had read about it online. I think I'd passed it and kind of noticed it but never really thought to look at it in depth.

Just throwing it an idea out to see if it sticks....

But since he's already got a gas station at DCA.....

I wouldn't mind that at all. Sounds like a great way to restore some classic Disneyana with an appropriately-themed (and underrepresented) character.

Fantabulous! Looking at the photos of the Emporium entrance that is there now actually gave me a spark of memory as well. Anyone know if there are any remnants over there around the entrance that replaced this area? Like hidden homages to the flowers or anything?

The Greenhouse was removed in 1983 or 1984. The space became part of the Emporium.

Ok, I know this is overdue but I was there last night and took pics of both. There are in fact TWO Cigar Indians in MK as I noted:

And Main Street (sorry this one sucks; I forgot to get a picture earlier and this was during the parade so I couldn't get into the street to take a shot)

But there you have it. Two Cigar Indians in Magic Kingdom!
