Maingate difference

Oh ok, so Disneyland and WDW treats them as different "levels" of Cast, or is Disneyland just more generous on the blue pass in general?

That's what it looks like, although CMs who only work summers at DL don't receive the main gate pass at all. Other than that, all CMs can use the pass for up to sixteen times a year, until they work for the company for so long and get unlimited access.

The best thing is going from CP to Full Time. I did that, so I got my CP Maingate and then after I went full time, I received a whole new full time CM Maingate.

I think that there are a lot less CPs in DL as well so you wouldn't have to worry as much about the sheer volume of "free guests" that are coming in.

All DLR cast members can sign in people up to sixteen times, not just CPs. The only ones excluded are those who just work during spring break or summer.

Okay, well, in general, there are a lot less CMs in DLR. I know typcially, I've been told there are around approx 20,000 CMs at DLR at any given time while at our WDW Traditions class, they told us it runs about 65,000 CMs at WDW.

Yep, different demographics and situations mean different rules.
