Main Street Vehicles

in addition to Disney trains, I’m also fascinated with all Disney transportation and I wanted to start a thread for everyone to post current activities of the Main Street vehicles at the Magic Kingdom.

On my recent trip, I didn’t see any vehicles out but I also wasn’t there in the mornings. Still, vehicles used to operate all throughout the day and even into the evening.

Anyone see them out recently?

Horse Drawn Streetcar?
Omnibus?
Red Car? blue car?

Saw the horse drawn trolley carrying the Dapper Dans on two different mornings the week of 2/15. The omnibus was out too. It’s rare to see any vehicles operating after 12 pm, especially during busy periods. In my five decades of visiting MK, I don’t recall seeing any Main Street vehicles out in the evening.

In my five decades of visiting MK, I don’t recall seeing any Main Street vehicles out in the evening.

It’s rare but I have seen them - I specifically remember riding the fire truck at night at the MK. Can’t remember when but it was as an adult - not a kid. Over the summer I would see some cars out in the early afternoon too- although I kept missing them for rides!

Of course at Disneyland they still run regularly - with horse cars running from open till 1:00 and the other vehicles running until at least 4 or 5:00 pm. I have seen the Omnibus etc run crazy late at Disneyland but I think they cut those hours back as well.

Main Street in 2026 is waaaaaay too busy for ANY vehicles to operate during the day past the mornings…

I saw red car two weeks ago when we rope dropped, but the park got busy quickly, so I assume they stopped operating.

For as long as I can remember I don't remember seeing Main Street vehicles out in the afternoons, not saying they're not but I can't recall seeing them. I do like them in the mornings nice and early and enjoy the odd ride on them.

I also used to enjoy seeing the old vehicles out in the Studios when the Citizens of Hollywood used to drive around in them, not seen them in years sadly.

Not really…. It’s not busier than it’s been in the past when I’ve seen them operate.

But I just wanted to make sure they still came out in general - one of my favorite things about Disney Parks and while I wish all castle parks operated Main Street like Disneyland does - gotta take what you can get!
