Main Street Restrooms Refurb

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Do your really want to be putting anything down in the restroom though.

Setting down a bottle or bag on a bathroom counter is going to be infinitely cleaner environment then on a bench or wall outside.
Disney cleans those bathrooms every hour or so.
It would be interesting to do a real test on that one and find out. I'm not so sure, depending of course where you hit it in the cleaning cycle.

I bet that's why this type of sink was installed, and that's a positive in my book. I'm continually impressed by how some people are such slobs; looks like a tsunami has just come through after some people are done with the sink.

Also, since it has been an ongoing topic in a another thread, those pics show a very pristine looking restroom in terms of cleanliness.
But, with the public, for how long? Unless Disney puts a couple people in the restrooms, to clean up, it will look like a pig sty very quickly.

That's my favorite bathroom stop in all of WDW! :inlove: so glad it's almost open again! Missed those my last trip.

Also, I realize how weird I sound having a favorite bathroom in WDW  haha

You are definitely not weird! I have faves too, those at City Hall, the Tangled ones in MK. I also love the UK ones in EPCOT.

The refitted DLP restrooms are using the same sinks and Dyson handryers. They don't need someone with a squeegee going around every 2mojs and the handryers blow the water back to the sinks.

My only issue is the dryers should be away from the sinks as people stand using them taking up the space of the next hand washer.

The new finishes are very nice and a companion facility is a welcome addition. However the sinks are far from the turn of the 19th century design of town square.

It looks like they are almost done with the refurb on the Main Street restrooms next to City Hall. I think they look a lot better than before. They took out that weird water fountain to make room for the companion restroom. This is the men's restroom. My wife said the women's is still needing a bit more work. These sinks are probably the nicest I have seen at any of the parks.

I like the woven look to the floor. Unique. The sinks are trending up here in larger restaurants. They capture the water without it running all over the place. It is a nice improvement. Thanks for posting.

Honestly, it isn't all that big a deal. All they are doing is flushing the toilets and urinals, adding soap to the dispensers, plugging in the hand dryers, clean the feces off the ceiling and if there's time they think that they can squeeze in emptying the trash cans. Oh, they also plan on firing all those CM's that didn't flush the toilets and urinals, used all the soap and didn't replace it, unplugged the hand dryers and somehow managed to get feces on the ceiling. So they may be too short handed to actually empty the trash.

Ohhhh man, I remembered when those Tangled ones opened. I'm still shocked that those are restrooms! They're one of my favorites as well. I've only tried the UK ones once I believe so I'll have to check them out :) I do love the restroom signs on the one in Belle's village and in La Hacienda de San Angel. I wonder if these city hall ones will get cute new themed signs

I have favorites and most avoided ones too. Before refurb, these were the worst in MK. Now they are easily in top 5. Ithe was the same with the ones my Splash. Post refurb, theyes are beautiful.

TBH, the ones in Adventureland next to Supply Island used to be the worst. I never really minded the City Hall MSUSA ones as much, and I'm a OCD freak so I wouldn't go in ones I deemed "too gross."
