Main Street Electrical Parade Music Remix?

I was enjoying new footage of the MSEP from DL, and I swear the music sounds...different.

Does anyone know if there is a new remix of the Baroque Hoedown ...or is it just my imagination?

Have they re-digitalized it or something? And will it be that way when the parade moves back to WDW for the limited run?

It is a new arrangement. It premiered last year during summer nightastic but is similar to if not the same as the overseas version. I think it is safe to assume it'll be at wdw too although I don't think any official comment has been made. It was my understanding though that this was the new permanent soundtrack.

As far as it being used for the WDW version this summer, it probably will be; however, during Crofton's announcement, she said "even the music will bring back classic memories." Then the clip of the parade the played right after that contained the original music. In a subsequent interview with a Disney Employee (PR person?) someone asked her if we'd have the ORIGINAL original music. She said "it'll be that same music guests enjoyed years ago[...]It'll be enhanced, so from a technical standpoint [it's a little different]...." So who knows. Personally, I REALLY hope they use the original this summer....The new one is in the wrong key, by the way. :hurl: I think the original is FAR superior in many ways. The new one is too...cacophonous? Yeah, I'll go with that. It's not as "tight," musically and rhythmically speaking. Sounds like a bad cover version to me.
