I just booked my trip for September(18-24) and was wondering what are the chances that I will have the opportunity to get MagicBands. Is it just random or will they send an email asking if I want to participate. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing official has been announced. Which will not be the case when these bands are fully rolled out....

I will be there at the same time and when I asked about the magic bands, I was told that they are still testing them, and that they have not been informed when they will go live to all guests.
