MagicBand+ synching issue...anyone having this?

We purchased our MB+ set for the four of us during our trip in Feb. Going back next month and just want to use our same MBs.

My wife and I both are set as linked to our kids and able to manage their accounts and MBs, but for some reason when I dug out our MBs to get ready for the next trip, my account says I am just managing mine. The kids only show up on my wife's account. We didn't change any settings, and have checked over and over that we are both account managers.

I just want to be able to see all four of us in my account like in Feb for whatever reason, especially when monitoring who needs charged.

Has this weird syncing issue happened to anyone else? My wife called Disney and they said it should show on my acct but it does not. Any advice? Thanks in advance....

To clarify, this is nothing to do with your magic bands, it’s to do with MDE.

Have you tried checking on the website vs the app? If it shows OK on the website then it’s an app issue. In any case I would try deleting the app and re-installing it.

It also occurs to me, can you see them on your family & friends list? I’m not sure if both of you can manage them per se, but you should be able to see everyone. If you can’t I suggest re-linking to them. Send an invitation to them using your wife’s email address. Once she accepts you should then be able to see them.

The fact that Disney IT said you should be able to see them suggests to me it could well be sorted by deleting and re-installing the app. You could have an old version loaded.

Appreciate the thoughts and advice here.

I thought the same thing re: app issues, but the website is showing the same thing. My wife's account says we are both managing all four accounts, but my account says she is but ONLY for magic bands. I can access my kids info to make other reservations like dining, etc.

I wonder if I should have her undo her 'managing' status and start over? Just seems weird.

So if you can see them and can book other things for them, what exactly is the issue? What is it you can’t do that you need to be able to do?

As I said, I have a feeling only one person can manage accounts for others.

Would like to view all four magic bands and their charges. Just like it did in Feb when we went.

Only one person can manage a "managed by..." profile. (Such as a parent managing their kid) Anyone else who is linked to them, such as a second parent, would only be able to link to those kid profiles as a friend. As friends they could link them to reservations, link tickets, etc but they wouldn't actually *manage* the kid's account. That would strictly be for the first parent account.

If the kids are listed under BOTH parents, each as managed by them, then you have duplicate profiles, and things won't work properly as you'd have some things linked to one version and some to another.

How old are the kids? If they're old enough to create their own login account on the Disney site (13 years old, I think) then it might be easiest to have them create accounts, then go into the managed-by profiles and send a friend invite by filling in their email address. That way each parent can assure they're connected to the "real" person.
