Magicband shipping question

I just got an email from Disney saying that my magicbands were ready to be packed and shipped and will soon be on their way but when I look at it on My Disney Experience it still shows 13 days to customize. Are they shipping them out now?? We are at 44 days to go? I hope so!!!! So excited!

Sounds like the e-mail was a glitch. They won't cut off customization until the 30-day mark (or so), and will ship them a few days after that.

They will post the shipping tracking number on your MDE page when they ship as well.

That is what I thought and expected but nearly had a heart attack when the email came! One can always dream I guess... Lol

We went in May. Can't remember how far in advance I ordered magic bands, prob about 3 wks? Ordered on a monday got them on wednesday! personalized and all...actually rec'd them same day I got email they were on their way! Don't know if that has happened for anyone else. I thought it was pretty awesome!
