Magical memories

This is so fun! I love planning strategy, this is helpful. Tell me about the little things that made your trip so magical. Someone said to get the kids hair cut on Main Street, and another mom said how watching her daughter fall asleep watching the lights change on the castle made her trip. Anybody else have some magic to share? This is almost as fun as going on the trip.

Definately! Take your kids to Chef Mickey's. It's the best character dining on property, and you'll love it as much as they will!! Also, about 2 hours befor SpectroMagic, see if you can find a cast member in a blue vest, and ask if the viewing from the Liberty Square bridge has been filled yet. That's an awesome spot to watch it from. One thing, as you may have noticed from the other posts, is to strike up conversations with the cast members, magical things can and do happen!!! If you have any questions about wdw, please feel free to email me at wdwcp97@hotmail.com

...it's been my experience that you can't 'plan' for those magical moments...the ones that you'll remember the most are the ones that happen spontaneously and/or totally unexpectedly. The best thing you can do is plan to give them the opportunity to make those moments but ya just can't make them happen.

My magical moment - my 4 year old daughter meeting her hero, Peter Pan. He was SO kind with her - it was magical to see her face, her little eyes shining, I'll never forget it. He even carried her in his arms to meet his friends, The Princesses, by-passing a one hour wait! She is seven now and still calls him "The boy of her dreams"! I left a "thank you" customer comment card for him at City Hall, (addressed to Neverland of course!)- I do hope that he got it, to know that he had made a little girl's day.

My most magical moment was seeing the pleasure on my Mom's face when we went on our first trip to WDW. She had not been on a real vacation since my brother and I were young, and so when I get my first "real" job, I started saving up and just the two of us went. It was magical :)

That is a great story.

Like so many others have written, there is no way to plan for magical things to happen in Disney. But don't worry. The magic will be there!

The horse drawn trolly driver was unhitching the Clydesdale horse after the morning run and we went over to look at the horse....Mr Bill let my daughter help wash and cool down the horse....the horse liked to drink from the garden hose and she got to give it a big drink too....it made her day... every time we go to MK I make sure we say hey to Bill....:)

Take a picture of your family...

...1) In front of The Walt and Mickey "Partners" statue with the Castle in the back ground.

2) In front of the Fountain at EPCOT with Spaceship Earth Ball in the background.

3) In front of the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom

4) In front of the Giant Sorcerer Mickey Hat at Disney MGM

I guarantee...these will ALL be Magical moments:animwink:

I have to agree .. Chef Mickey's !! and getting to ride up front in the monorail! Letting the kids inter-act with the street charactors at MGM . When my granddaughter was 4 she had the best time singing to a couple of them :) And my other granddaughters favorite thing is "freshed baked cookies and story time" at the Poly.
